storytellers
We're a small team that builds story-led events, campaigns, and crafted things — out of HCMC, for the world. If that sounds like a place you'd want to spend your weekdays, read on.
Delulu is a creative event agency in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We plan, build, and tell brand stories — through Storyable Events, IMC Campaigns, and Premium Merchandise.
We work with brands like Guerlain, Range Rover, Manulife, and the Little Roses Foundation — not because we chase logos, but because the briefs they bring us tend to be the most interesting in town.
We are 12 full-time storytellers, designers, producers, and operators. Most of us have been here 3+ years. We've all been in agencies that felt like factories, and we built Delulu to feel like neither — closer to a small newsroom or a workshop than a production house.
Four principles that shape how we hire, work, and decide. They're not just on the wall — they're the criteria we evaluate ourselves on each quarter.
We start every project asking "what's the story?" — before logistics, before assets, before timeline. If we can't articulate the story in one line, the project isn't ready. We hire people who think this way too.
With clients about budget, timeline, and what's possible. With each other about what's working and what's not. With ourselves about the gap between the vision and the execution. No hidden agendas, no inflated reports.
The story matters. So does the rivet, the timing, the way the light hits at 7:42pm. We sweat the details — not because clients ask us to, but because we know which details people remember six months later.
Creativity for its own sake is decoration. Creativity in service of the story is craft. We push for ideas that earn their complexity — and walk away from clever ones that don't serve the brief.
We're small enough that what you do is visible — and large enough that you're not doing everything yourself. The benefits below are not perks. They're how we work.
Three days in studio, two days remote — your choice which. We meet in person when it matters: workshops, kickoffs, event days. Quiet work happens wherever you focus best.
From day one, you own client relationships and creative decisions. No rotating juniors, no babysitting. The trade-off: we expect you to think, not just execute.
Six layers of approval is how good ideas die. We have two: maker and reviewer. You'll talk directly to the founder weekly — and to clients without a buffer.
Event production has bursts — we won't pretend otherwise. But we track them, comp them, and protect quiet weeks. No unpaid overtime, no glorification of hustle.
15M VND/year for courses, conferences, and books. We've sent team to events in Tokyo, Singapore, and Bangkok. Bring back what you learn — share it at our monthly studio session.
Our portfolio is the strongest perk. You'll work on briefs from brands you'd want on your resume. You'll also see the bad ones we said no to — and learn why.
A few moments from this past quarter — workshops, dry-runs, client visits, end-of-event quiet. Real days, real team.
We get it — sometimes the best hires don't match an existing posting. If you've read this far and it still feels right, send us a note. Tell us what you'd want to do at Delulu — we read every email.
