The Challenge

How do you introduce a 200-year heritage to a new generation of luxury buyers?

Guerlain wanted to launch the new Abeille Royale collection in Vietnam — not as a product launch, but as a sensory tribute to heritage, craftsmanship, and the women who carry stories within them.

Our brief: create an exclusive evening for 80 VIP guests, press, and KOLs that feels less like an event — and more like a memoir written in scent, light, and detail.

We had eight weeks. One venue. One brand legacy weighed in honey, gold, and history. And one chance to translate it into a story Vietnam would remember.

We translated the brand's bee motif into a layered narrative across twelve touchpoints — guests entered through a hive corridor, dined under a honeycomb-lit canopy, and left with a personalized honey jar bearing their name in calligraphy. Every detail was a verse in the same poem.

Concept Development

Working closely with Guerlain's brand guardians, we built the “Royal Hive” universe across 12 touchpoints — from invitation calligraphy to the final keepsake. Three creative routes were presented; the chosen one was the most romantic and the most ambitious.

Custom-fabricated honeycomb canopy, 80 hand-calligraphed honey jars, bespoke amber lighting design, and a multi-sensory entrance corridor scented with the Abeille Royale signature note. Every prop was prototyped, sampled, and approved before mass production.

Event Night

The Evening

80 guests. 12 touchpoints. One unforgettable evening. The hive corridor opened at 19:00. By 22:30, every guest had been individually greeted, photographed, and gifted. The brand lifted off social media within minutes — and earned 12M+ in media value within 72 hours.
